Staples had three games this week, and the Wreckers picked up big wins, 7-0 over Norwalk under the lights on Tuesday and 3-1 over Stamford on Thursday. Saturday was our only non-league match of the season as we traveled to Sacred Heart University to take on Notre Dame Prep at 6. The girls came away with a hard fought 0-0 draw.

Team Philanthropy Events
On October 17th, the girls of GSOCC held a bake sale to benefit Whittingham Cancer Center. The program raised $900 as a result of the efforts of our bakers and volunteers.
We participated in the Push Against Cancer to benefit the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, a charity close to our hearts, founded by Paul Newman.
Our entire program of girls did push ups on the morning of Sunday, October 20th.
